Catnip (Nepeta cataria):  This little herb is great for calming coughs, treating colds, flu, and respiratory problems.  

Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus): Helps to open bronchial tubes and aids in the treatment of bronchitis and other lung disorders.

Lobelia (Lobelia inflata):  Lobelia has been used for ages to remove obstructions in the body.  In cases of asthma, bronchitis, and chest colds, it helps to remove fluid and mucous buildup.  

Mullein (Verbascum thapsus):  This herb not only nourishes the lungs, but also aids in the loosening of mucous and fluid build-up.  

Peppermint (Mentha piperita):  Combined with the catnip is the blend, peppermint’s carminative properties will insure that all the mucous being broken up will cause you to have gentle expulsion, and not a violent coughing spell.  

Slippery Elm (Ulmus fulva):  This inner bark help to cost the lungs to help prevent mucous build up and also feeds the lungs.

Wild Cherry Bark (Prunus virigniana):  This herb is an expectorant.  This that it helps the body rid itself of the mucous that is broken up by the other herbs. 

Do not exceed three cups in an eight hour period.  Please, do not consider taking if you allergic to any of the herbs above.

Protein Packed Smoothie


Protein Packed Smoothie

(Sans Protein Powder)
Protein Packed Smoothie

The smoothie freshly blended.

1/3 cup Pumpkin Seeds

1/4 cup Almonds

1/4 cup Raisins

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

6 Strawberries

1 medium Banana

1 cup coconut milk

  1. Place nuts and Pumpkin seeds in the blender, and add coconut milk.  Blend until smooth.

  2. Add Banana

  3. Add Raisins

  4. Add Strawberries

  5. Blend until it is smooth, and devoid of any chunks.

  6. Makes 1 smoothie.  Add More coconut milk if you want it less thick.  For extra protein substitute Almond Milk for Coconut Milk.
